This was caught by me on March 22,2009. I was using a 2-4 foot huge crankbait and it busted it in fairly deep water considering everyone else was saying they were catching them in very shallow water. My son Christian was with me and he grabbed up the net and netted it like a pro. This largemouth weighed 11.3 lbs on my digital scales and it weighed the same when I officially weighed it in at Gibson County Lake by the TWRA. I got me a big one like Bill Dance catches!!!I caught this fish at a local public park that I have fished numerous times. Normally, I have caught a bunch of pounders and maybe a few two pounders. But when I hooked this fish I was shocked. Caught him on a black and blue jig with a powerbait black and blue crawdad trailer. Water was pretty muddy because it had just rained so that is why I put this color on and glad I did! But all in all great fish.small wahoo caught on 03/04/2009 in Turks and Caicos IslandsI bought a farm last year with a 10 acre lake. It is an old body of water, approx 60 years old. I was frustrated that the bass we were catching were only 12-14 inches long. I found the problem; the average crappie is 12 inches and 3/4lb. I have taken three crappie over 16 inches, one 18 inches from the pond. It is easy to catch 12-15 of these guys on any given outing. They respond to white fuzzy 1/16 oz jigs the best. I use a weighted bobber with the jig, it stays put better in a breeze.I caught these to striped bass at Logan Martin Dam in Alabama. The one on the left wieghed rite at 15.6 lbs and the one on the right wighed 12.3 lbs. Very happy with my catch. Was using live shad.Capt. Lynn Pridgen with a nice speckled trout caught in Mobile river on March 24,2009This Hybrid Striped Bass weighed 19lbs7ozs. It was caught at Barren River Lake in Allen and Barren Counties in South Central Kentucky. The monster fish was caught on a Diamond Shad Spoon. It was caught in 2005 and is still the current standing Lake record. This photo was taken in March 2008. I was fishing a private lake in two feet of water. The fish weighed 8lbs.This smallmouth was caught on a crankbait on Chippewa Lake in mid Michigan that is more known for its pan fish. It was caught and measured but not weighed, but it qualified for a Michigan Angler award due to its length which was 28 inchs and then released under my dock. A previous angler award is on my hat in the picture.... that was for a bowfin (dogfish) also caught in Chippewa Lake.Duhernal Lake, Spotswood, NJ Weighed just over a pound, 13March 15, 2009 at private lake community near Jackson, TN. 8 lb. 6 oz. - biggest bass I ever caught! The big one got away (smile)
